iPro2500 Paralleling (for two iPro2500 generators)

By Jackie Green on Thu Nov 05, 20

HOW TO PARALLEL A IPRO2500 You must use the WHPC to properly parallel two Westinghouse inverters. If you are paralleling with an iGen inverter that is floating neutral then you need to change the iPro2500 to floating neutral. If you are paralleling two iPro2500s, both must be changed to floating neutral to properly function. See separate service bulletin on how to float GFCI outlet on iPro2500. NOTE: ONCE YOU FLOAT THE GFCI THE IPRO2500 IS NO LONGER OHSA OR CSA COMPLIANT. If you are paralleling two iPro2500s you will first need to float the neutral on both inverters. If you...

As the batteries’ state of charge in the key fob reduces, the distance to start the generator will also reduce. Before the generator can be started, an initial start-up procedure must be performed so the generator and the key fob recognize each other. If the key fob is replaced, you will need to go through this procedure with the new fob. With...

By Jackie Green on Thu Nov 05, 20

HOW TO FLOAT THE NEUTRAL TO GFCI BREAKER - IPRO2500 There will be some usage scenarios that will require you to float the neutral on the iPro2500. For instance paralleling a iPro2500 with another Westinghouse inverter which require both inverters to be floating neutral. In order for GFCI’s to work properly there can only be one ground reference in the system. Paralleling two GFCI inverters creates two ground references.
